Tales of the Lazy Stargazer
Volume One, Number Nine
Black Sun Expedition of June 10, 2002
By Alan Rifkin (The Lazy Star Gazer)
This Eclipse was only a partial. To get a good view you had to go to the Pacific coast. So we wanted to go somewhere cool. So we went to Alaska.
A gale arrived there soon after us, and on the day of the eclipse it was cool alright, and pouring rain. So much for batting a thousand.
We did do other things and had a good time in spite of the gale.
Here are a few of the pictures from the trip.
Maybe sometime I will write up more, but now I have to go back to work.
