Rif's barn sale!Electronics

Last updated July 5, 2010

I have a barn full of stuff, that looks like Warehouse 13.
I am selling off all sorts of stuff to make room for all sorts of new stuff.
Buy some new stuff from me, and I may take your old stuff in trade-in and then sell it here.
As I have time, I will keep adding stuff, there are over 3000 items in inventory that need to go.
I am selling it piece by piece or it lots for a deep discount. The more you buy the cheaper it is.
Here are listings and images of some of the things I am selling
Some of this stuff may be auctioned off on Ebay or other places
If you came here from another site, it was to get contact information and my sales terms. I have a 100% rating on Ebay, and I work hard to keep it. So I deal fairly and want to make you happy
Please don't ask me how much I want for an item, just make me an offer.
If you are interested in some of this stuff, email me Email: Barn@Rifkin.com or call 413.467.9825 or 800-336-9054 or fax 413.467.9393

Astronomy & Telescopes

MPT
TeleVue Multi Purpose Telescope

5" f4 Variable focal length Petzval Refractor
TV started manufacturing a 5" Apochromatic refracting telescope named the MPT, the Multi-Purpose Telescope. It had a fast f/5 ratio, and has an adjustable diaphragm that ranged from f/5 to f/20. Only a small number were made, with the last being kept by Televue to use as a final optical quality control for all eyepieces they make.
Less than 30 were ever made.
Scope is signed by Al Nagler.
This is Televue's first production telescope using the Petzval design, stars are sharp right to the edge of the field. 5" objective has no marks, scope is in excellent shape. Iris diaphragm adjustable from f4 to f20.
Up to 5.5 degree field with 55mm Plossl. Thing of what it can do with an Ethos.
This scope is a Collector's item and comes with 2" diagonal, carrying case and original clam shell.
I think this was made in 1984.
It looks like it was never used or even taken out of the box.
The case does have some corrosion on the hinge, which it has probably been sitting on for 26 years
If you are doing Astro imaging, this is an incredible scope due to the variable focal length and flat field.

Contact me with any questions.
